Sooooo we've got a page numbering issue!

I started drawing on the first script HRW gave me, accidentally of course, before realizing that the new one had different pages. Welp! But then there's this issue where we're apparently on page nine of the script, but I've only done seven pages....? o_O I need to stop where I'm at and do the missing page(s) right away then.

Anyway, here's the sketch for page seven.

Also I'm graduating tomorrow?!? How exciting!

And I've beat Dragon Age 2! You can tell, cause I'm actually doing work.

summer sketches

Since it's summer, I've finished my last classes of this degree, and I'm waiting for a work permit, I'll have lots of creative project time! I admit, this is dampened by my obsessions with Dragon Age. I want to draw my ladies! And then play through again because I fucked up in both games (whole family dead, oops!).

Eryth: Commander of the Grey

It must be said, I LOVE my Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening character (City elf: rogue). I only wish that I had known ahead of time how to keep Alistair/ rule all of motherfucking Ferelden!! I still squeed whenever the narrative mentioned that I ("Commander of the Grey") ruled behind the scenes. ^_^ Cause, you know, it's true. I put TWO kings of my choosing on their damn thrones!

So here is my Grey Warden Commander, with the Sentiel armor (because HOT DAMN that set is awesome).

Now that I've beat Origins and it's expansion (Awakening) I'm chugging through Dragon Age II. I squee whenever the returning character mentions the Origins character in passing to my new character. :)

I think Dragon Age gave me a fame/power complex, hahaha. I got my own arling?? And subjects?? and people clap as I walk by? YES PLEASE

*_* Now to draw more of this grey warden! I still need a name for her... I'm thinking of replacing her with Eryth, a character in the "Morbie" story. Just so I get to keep her...  *pets*

Also it's finals week so I'm cheerful because I'm procrastinating  but in two days I'll be overloaded with work and crying blood :)

Boston Comic Con Haul

That's right, yours truly went to Comic Con and of course was freaked to see many artists I knew of! I commissioned four people; Ashley Riot, Becky Cloonan, Micheal Dooney, and one guy whose name I don't remember who didn't sign the drawing legibly. I know, I suck. But I saw Matteo Scalera (Deadpool artist), David Petersen (Mouse Guard), Jason Pearson (Deadpool), Sean Gordon Murphy (Batman), Becky Cloonan (Conan), and tons more.

Ah, the usual nonsense.

It's like the thought that abortions can be necessary and could have in fact made your life BETTER never crossed their minds. I'm stepping aside the obvious downfalls to abortion here, because obviously there are legitimate reasons for regretting them. I'm not trying to devalue that at all, believe me. But unless you checked out your alternate reality, how do you know that your life would be sunshine and daisies? I had a friend in university who was against abortion, but had had TWO. I asked her why, and she told me that it was because the process of losing them was horribly painful, emotionally and physically. Well, fair enough, but seriously: do you think you'd be chilling in college with your boyfriend while your parents pay your tuition if you had two infants running around? I hung out with her enough to know the issues she complained about were insignificant. Clearly didn't treasure the freedom she had at all. I'm not saying she should be glad for the abortions, but she was saying that she wanted to refuse OTHER WOMEN the right to finish school and live their lives. Because SHE made rash decisions. Hi, numb nuts, did it ever occur to you other girls might NEED abortions, not WANT them? FFS.
